Materials Science ... gel body armor! I love to read about new technologies like this ... something truly futuristic ... a "viscous gel" in a vest that is fluid until struck or impacted ... then it turns to a hardened material.  Afterwards ... it returns to a gel.  Bullet-proof vests that morph ... very cool!
